Spring 2008 Manatee County Ultimate League

Hi all,

Here's the scoop on the upcoming Manatee County Ultimate league:

  • League format will be "hat", that is, teams will be created from the pool of players that register, and balanced based on skill level, gender, carpools and other factors. There may also be some pre-existing teams that join the league.
  • Registration fee is $25/person.
  • Games to be played at the GT Bray Park soccer fields.
  • Start date is May 29th
  • There will be 10 regular-season games, as well as playoffs and championships
  • Games will be held on Thursday nights at 7:30 and 9pm.

Skill level: (1 = never played before, 2 = played a few games; perhaps attend pickup games now and again; 3 = play pickup regularly, perhaps have attended a few hat tournaments; 4 = some experience playing on a club team; 5 = elite club player; competed at a regional or higher level):
